Giving

We are a community of faith rooted in the Baptist tradition, committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ in ways that are inclusive, compassionate, and transformative. We believe that every person is created in the image of God, and that diversity reflects the beauty and creativity of the Creator.

As a church, we affirm that generosity is not optional—it is essential to discipleship. Generosity is how we embody the love of Christ in tangible ways: through giving, serving, and showing up for one another and for our neighbors. It is an outward expression of an inward faith, reflecting gratitude for God’s grace and a commitment to God’s mission.

We strive to be a people who give freely—of our time, our resources, and our compassion—recognizing that everything we have is entrusted to us for the good of others. In this, we follow the example of Christ, whose life was marked by radical generosity.

As a progressive Christian community, we actively engage the world around us, practicing generosity not only within our walls but beyond them—working for justice, equity, and dignity for all people. We believe that a generous church is a transformative church, one that reflects God’s love in action and participates in building a more just and compassionate world.
