The first step in the process of having your baby dedicated to the Lord is to complete a Baby Dedication request form. It is our privilege to offer baby dedications to the Lord and to bless children and their families. Baby dedications are usually performed on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays at worship services.
We encourage parents to live their lives in such a way that will bring glory to God. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” and Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words I command you today shall be in your heart, you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit down in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up.”
Upon receipt of the completed form, the Church Administrator will contact you to confirm your request. The Baby Dedication is a sacred service, so it is expected that you honor the procedures provided to you.
Procedures will be reviewed at the time of confirmation, and a copy of the procedures will also be sent to you by mail and E-mail. We ask that parents advise all relatives and friends of the procedures and our church policies, to ensure that we continue to honor the Lord during the worship service.
